All Elite Wrestling has signed a number of wrestlers since the company first launched in 2019, but recently the company has been parting ways with wrestlers as their contracts expire. It looks like Jack Evans will also be ending his run with AEW as he recently confirmed that he will not be signing a new contract when he posted the following on Twitter:
“My time with #AEW has been a fun and enjoyable but it has come to an end as I will not be re-signed when my contract ends at the end of April. I’d like to thank everyone at AEW and the AEW fans for the opportunity.”
Jack Evans went on to elaborate on his release when he explained that he thinks the pandemic and a performance drop off both played a factor in his departure.
“I think the release is largely because after the 4 month covid lay off and then the time off from the broken face I had a perfomance drop off I never really came back from.”
Stay tuned for more updates on AEW departures as they become available.
