It looks like another AEW star will be parting ways with the company as Fuego Del Sol has announced that his contract will be expiring soon. Back in August of 2021, Fuego Del Sol challenged Miro for the TNT Championship on Rampage, and even though he failed to win the title he ended up earning a contract with AEW.
Fuego Del Sol recently released a video announcing that his time with All Elite Wrestling will end on July 1 and he will soon become a free agent. He also confirmed that he’s been cleared for in-ring competition. Fuego thanked everyone in AEW and he also thanked the fans for helping him make it to AEW.
According to Fuego Del Sol this is just the beginning for his career even though his time with AEW is coming to an end. He posted the following on Twitter:
“Thank you AEW. Though this chapter is coming to a close, this is just the beginning for Fuego Del Sol. Now accepting bookings any and everywhere!”
