Earlier this year Jon Moxley parted ways with WWE and shortly after he made his big debut with AEW at Double or Nothing in Las Vegas.
AEW has changed the game in several ways so far, and after the debut episode of AEW Dynamite on TNT Tony Khan was asked about AEW wrestlers having health insurance.
While speaking to the media Khan noted that a large percentage of the wrestlers who appeared on all five of the AEW shows this year are insured through AEW. He also noted that Jon Moxley is getting health insurance through WWE.
“Jon Moxley actually does get healthcare but he gets it through his wife [Renee Young] who is a full-time employee elsewhere. But Kenny [Omega] does get healthcare and is a full-time employee as are a lot of people. Kenny is a part of my office and he works a full-time job. There’s other people like Britt Baker who’s full-time job is a dentist and she’s come in and wrestle I wanna say four of the five shows.”
Jon Moxley is currently scheduled to face Kenny Omega at AEW Full Gear in November.
