It appears that an AEW star is done with the company as Fightful Select is reporting that Bear Boulder of The Iron Savages has been fired. According to the report he was fired because the company learned he had been arrested for battery and strangulation in January.

PWInsider reports that he was arrested at 4:45 PM in Winter Garden, Florida on 1/13. According to the complaint filed against Boulder, real name Thomas Wansaw, the alleged victim is his fiance who called the deputies to Wansaw’s place of residence. Deputy Javier Rincon noted that the victim informed him she was “physically battered” be her fiance.
Wansaw was assigned a public defender on 1/14 and a no contact order was issued on behalf of the victim the same day. Following a hearing on 1/27 the order was modified at the request of the victim to order Wansaw to have no “hostile/violent contact with the victim.” Initially Wansaw was ordered to maintain a separate residence from the victim, but that order was lifted at the victim’s request.
According to the report Wansaw has been ordered not to own any firearms, weapons or ammunition. As of this writing no new court dates are listed, but the case remains open.
Boulder last wrestled at the ROH tapings on January 11th.
