Over the last few years fans have seen a number of AEW departures and now another name who has been there from the beginning is on his way out. QT Marshall recently announced that he would be leaving AEW and it looks like he’s pretty much done with the company.
Fightful Select reports that QT Marshall’s contract with AEW won’t technically expire until January 1st, but he has effectively finished up with All Elite Wrestling. According to AEW sources QT Marshall no longer has a presence backstage and hasn’t been at AEW events in weeks.
QT Marshall reportedly gave his notice to AEW months ago and signed a short term contract extension through the end of the year. There is said to be outside interest when it comes to QT Marshall and he has plans for the Turnbuckle Championship Wrestling trademark. It doesn’t look like QT will be hanging up his boots any time soon as he’s said to be adamant about wanting to compete in the ring while he’s in his prime.
Stay tuned for more updates on QT Marshall as they become available.
