AEW Star Expected To Leave The Company Next Week

Some big moves have been made in 2024 and in recent months there’s been a lot of talk about the Lucha Bros. potentially parting ways with All Elite Wrestling.

Fightful Select reports that the word going around within All Elite Wrestling is that Penta’s deal with the company will be up next week. The expectation is that the former AEW World Tag Team Champion will become a free agent unless something changes.

It’s also expected that WWE will be interested in Penta when he becomes a free agent and independent companies are already looking to book him in high profile matches if he becomes available.

Earlier this summer there was talk of WWE wanting to bring in the Lucha Bros. and it was reported that their deals were set to expire in the fall. However, AEW added time to Fenix’s deal due to the time he missed while he was injured. The belief is that around a year was added to the deal.

Stay tuned for updates.
