Over the last few years some big moves have been made and fans have seen a number of AEW stars jump ship to WWE. Names like Jade Cargill, Ethan Page and Lexis King have joined the WWE roster and now it seems that another familiar AEW star could be joining the company as well.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Ricky Starks has not signed a new contract with AEW, and is expected to sign with WWE once his current deal with All Elite Wrestling is up. It was noted that Starks turned down an idea for an angle with Big Bill that would have turned him babyface, and now he is no longer being used.
Ricky Starks made his debut with All Elite Wrestling in June of 2020 when he answered Cody Rhodes’ open challenge for the TNT Championship during an episode of Dynamite. During his run with AEW he managed to win the AEW Tag Team Championship, FTW Championship and the Men’s Owen Hart Cup.
