AEW Star Deletes Tweet After Taking A Shot At CM Punk

CM Punk has always been controversial and it seems that everyone has an opinion on whether or not he should return to AEW. It seems that the wheels are in motion for Punk to make his return and Deadspin recently posted an article about Punk with a headline that reads, “CM Punk is gaslighting AEW.”

The headline caught the attention of AEW star Brandon Cutler who responded with a tweet that said, “Someone gets it.” However, Cutler’s tweet was quickly deleted.

Brandon Cutler is obviously close with The Elite and Punk was reportedly involved in a physical altercation with Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks following the All Out pay-per-view. Despite the rocky history between CM Punk and The Elite it’s been reported that Punk is open to working with the group if he returns, but The Elite don’t seem to be as keen on that idea.
