You never know when a familiar face might show up in AEW, and back in September of 2023, CJ Perry got the wrestling world talking when she showed up at the All Out pay-per-view. After she debuted CJ Perry was involved in a storyline with Miro and Andrade, but she has not appeared on AEW programming since last year.
Recently CJ Perry confirmed her departure from AEW when she spoke to USA Today at the ESPY Awards and said that her, “time with them has just finished.”
Even though CJ Perry’s time with AEW is done it doesn’t seem that she’s interested in walking away from wrestling as she confirmed that she’s free to sign with any company. While talking about her future CJ Perry indicated that she would like to continue working as a manager.
“I’m really focused on finding talent and cultivating them and helping them become the best wrestler, champion possible. I guess you could say I want to be the Paul Heyman.”
