Tonight AEW World Champion MJF is set to defend his title against Samoa Joe at the Worlds End pay-per-view and there’s a lot of anticipation heading into the show. For months now MJF has been taunted by a mysterious devil figure, and all signs point to the devil’s true identity being revealed tonight.
The devil isn’t working alone as several masked henchmen have been doing the devil’s dirty work on AEW programming. Samoa Joe also confirmed on Dynamite this week that he’s been working with the devil.
There’s a lot of speculation regarding who the devil could be with some fans wondering if it could be Wardlow. MJF and Wardlow have a long history and Wardlow has made it clear that he’s not done with MJF. However, Wardlow recently took to Instagram to claim that he’s not the devil, and he won’t be at Worlds End when he posted the following:
“Not the devil. Not a goon. On vacation, will be watching Worlds End from London. So stop asking.”
