The coronavirus has had a massive impact on the professional wrestling industry, and WWE recently had to move Friday’s episode of SmackDown from Detroit the WWE Performance Center in Orlando.
Monday’s episode of Raw has also been moved from Pittsburgh to the Performance Center.
WWE is far from the only company that’s had to make changes due to the coronavirus pandemic, as AEW recently confirmed that Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite will take place from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, FL.
Former AEW World Champion Chris Jericho recently took a shot at WWE when he posted a photo on Instagram hyping up Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite then added a comment saying, “Daily’s place is way better than the PC.”
AEW Dynamite and NXT have been going head to head on Wednesday nights since October of 2019, and for the majority of the Wednesday Night Wars AEW has come out on top in the ratings.
