It’s no big secret that there’s been a lot of backstage drama in AEW over the last few months. There have been reports of backstage fights and CM Punk’s physical altercation with The Elite following All Out didn’t do much to help matters.
Britt Baker has been with AEW since the beginning, but she made it clear on Swerve Strickland’s Swerve City podcast that she feels it’s toxic when someone thinks they’re bigger than the company.
“What’s so toxic is when somebody thinks they’re bigger than the company. Or that the company needs them. There’s literally no one in AEW that they need, other than Tony Khan to survive. Everybody can be replaced.”
The former AEW Women’s Champion didn’t mention any specific names while talking about the toxicity in the locker room, but she certainly made her point.
