It’s been an interesting week in the world of professional wrestling, as the Royal Rumble pay-per-view aired on Sunday night, and the main event featured the return of Christian.
Ever since Christian returned to the ring, and Edge won the Royal Rumble match, the wrestling community has been talking a lot about the former WWE Tag Team Champions.
There are many fans who consider Edge and Christian to be a legendary team, but it seems that Dax Harwood of FTR does not agree.
A fan on Twitter mentioned that they would like to see Edge and Christian face FTR, and Dax Harwood called E&C “overrated” when he posted the following:
“They wouldn’t have been able to keep up with us in 2001, much less 2021.
And tbh, in my opinion, E&C were pretty overrated.”

Dax Harwood and his partner Cash Wheeler seemingly have different opinions, as Cash recently took to Twitter to praise Christian. However, Dax posted a tweet indicating that he thinks the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion’s best days are behind him.

It seems like that Harwood is just trying to stir things up on social media as FTR are known to do. It’s certainly no big secret that FTR helped Edge train for his return to the ring ahead of the Royal Rumble last year, so one has to imagine that they’re on good terms.
Whether or not we will ever see these two teams ever face off remains to be seen as a WWE return for FTR seems unlikely at this point.
