AEW All In aired live from Wembley Stadium on Sunday, and CM Punk reportedly got into a physical altercation with Jack Perry backstage before his match with Samoa Joe. Jack Perry faced off against Hook in a match that involved a spot with real glass, and Perry made a comment saying “cry me a river” about the glass which some felt was a reference to a previous altercation with CM Punk.
PWInsider is reporting that Jack Perry and CM Punk crossed paths backstage and the prevailing story is that Perry confronted Punk which led to the two stars shoving each other. It was also noted that Punk and Perry had words backstage.
The first story was that CM Punk struck Jack Perry, but another version of the story that’s been shared more claims that Jack Perry got caught in a choke. One way or another the belief is that Jack Perry got the worst of the physical altercation with Punk.
Jack Perry was asked to leave Wembley Stadium following the altercation with CM Punk and Punk stayed at the venue. It was also noted that Jack Perry is firmly part of The Elite camp when it comes to backstage conflicts.
