The All Elite Wrestling roster has unfortunately dealt with a lot of backstage drama over the last year or so, and it’s been no big secret that some wrestlers have had issues with former AEW Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa.
Fightful reported back in February that a locker room meeting was held where Thunder Rosa met with the women’s roster ahead of her return to the road. Rosa has been dealing with a back injury but she’s been working non-wrestling roles while sitting on the sidelines.
During a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio, Thunder Rosa addressed her status with the locker room and she noted that she took accountability and apologized.
“We got to respect the people that are now representing the company. I’m representing the company in a different manner. I have talked to the locker room and I took accountability for things that some people had issues with and I went out there and apologized. And that’s the best thing that I can do because I want to make money, I want to make sure that I am able to work with everyone regardless of if we have any issues or not.”
There’s currently no word on when Thunder Rosa will be returning to the ring, but it seems that she’s made an effort to make peace with the AEW women’s division.
