AEW Reportedly Trying To Sign Another Former WCW Announcer

All Elite Wrestling is set to go head to head with NXT on Wednesday nights when AEW premieres on TNT in October, and fans are gearing up for the Wednesday Night Wars.

AEW recently recruited former WCW announcer Tony Schiavone, and now it looks like another former WCW announcer could be AEW bound.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter AEW has shown interest in Mike Tenay.

Keith Mitchell, who heads up production for AEW, was at one point in talks with Tenay about working for the company.

It’s being reported that Mike Tenay has also had offers from everyone else but he hasn’t been quick to sign any deals.

Original plans called for Mike Tenay to become the General Manager of 205 Live but in the end the role went to Drake Maverick and no deal was made.
