Bryan Danielson officially arrived in All Elite Wrestling back in September, and he’s been a regular on AEW programming ever since. Danielson is currently under contract with AEW, but it sounds like we could see him working with other promotions in the future.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Bryan Danielson’s AEW deal allows him to work independent events similar to how Jon Moxley does. However, there was an independent promotion Bryan was interested in working with, in a market that AEW is going to, but hasn’t been to yet, and Tony Khan asked Bryan not to work the event.
According to the report Tony Khan asked Bryan Danielson not to work an indie show in that market until AEW puts on a show in the market because Khan wants Bryan’s first post-WWE date in the area to be with AEW.
Bryan’s deal also allows him to work in Japan, but AEW has priority on his dates, and Japan is not open to him right now. Danielson will face Miro in the finals of the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament at the Full Gear pay-per-view tonight. Stay tuned for updates.
