CM Punk and Daniel Bryan have been making headlines recently because it’s rumored that CM Punk is in talks with All Elite Wrestling, and that Bryan has already signed a deal with the company.
The rumors have no been confirmed by CM Punk, Daniel Bryan or anyone from AEW, but at this point it seems that it’s just a matter of time before Punk and Bryan appear on WWE programming. During a recent interview with The New York Post AEW President Tony Khan was asked about the rumors, and he remained tight lipped.
“I have no comment on those, but those are good questions but I can’t comment on those.”
Khan was then asked what it would hypothetically mean for a company to sign Punk and Bryan, and Khan simply said that the rumors are exciting.
“I can’t comment on those two guys, but I think there are certainly a lot of exciting rumors right now.”
Most people from AEW have stayed quiet regarding the idea of CM Punk and Daniel Bryan joining the company. It’s rumored that CM Punk could be making his debut at All Out on September 5, with Daniel Bryan’s debut following at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York City on September 22.
