Since the inception of All Elite Wrestling several title belts have been created, and it looks like another championship could be added to the ranks in AEW.
During a recent media call AEW President Tony Khan confirmed that there is still talk of the company introducing AEW Trios Titles.
“Yes there is [talk of introducing the titles] but it won’t be in 2020. If it happens, it will most likely be in 2021. I’ve been seriously thinking about it. I think there’s a lot of momentum for it, we have a lot of great trios teams.”
Khan went on to say that he would at least like to get through 2020, and closer to the Revolution PPV in February of 2021 before moving forward with the belts.
“I would like to get through 2020, I’d like to get to Beach Break and moving towards Revolution but I definitely think it is something on my agenda. And it’s something I’ve been talking about for a long time and thinking about.”
Do you think AEW Trios Titles would be a good addition to the company? Sound off in the comments below.
