There was once a time when many fans thought WWE would never sign AJ Styles, but he’s been with the company for 3 years now, and he’s one of the top stars on SmackDown Live.
AJ has had a good run with WWE so far, but soon his current contract will be expiring.
Dave Meltzer recently noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that with the arrival of All Elite Wrestling, AJ Styles has a lot of leverage when it comes to negotiating his new deal with WWE.
At this point it’s believed that All Elite Wrestling will be trying to go after WWE stars when they’re contracts expire, as Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks are friendly with many wrestlers who work for the company.
AJ Styles is currently making good money with WWE, but AEW could potentially make him a bigger offer with an easier schedule.
It’s being said that with the exception of Kenny Omega, no one is in a better position right now than AJ Styles when it comes to negotiating between WWE and AEW.
