AEW Issues Statement On Adam Page’s Injury During World Title Match

During Tuesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite in Cincinnati fans saw Adam Page challenge Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship in the main event. Page and Mox brought the fight to one another, but the match ended after Moxley hit a lariat on Page and the ringside physician ordered the match to be stopped.

AEW has since issued a statement confirming that Adam Page suffered a concussion during the match and the statement reads as follows:

“Hangman Adam Page was taken tonight by medical personnel to a Cincinnati trauma center and diagnosed with a concussion. He was discharge, but will remain in AEW’s concussion protocol.

“AEW and Hangman Page are grateful for the exemplary response and care of staff and local medical personnel, and are appreciative of the love and support of fans everywhere.”

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer also shared an update noting that Page is fine and he was released from the hospital.

Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
