AEW Experimenting With The Commentary Teams

All Elite Wrestling has a number of talented commentators on the roster right now, and recently the company has been switching things up.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that AEW has been experimenting with the commentary teams. This week Taz, Excalibur and Tony Schiavone called the first hour and then Jim Ross and William Regal were brought out for Blood & Guts. Jim Ross was given an entrance when he made his way out which received a big pop from the crowd.

AEW didn’t use Taz or Chris Jericho for the Rampage tapings this week as Jim Ross, Excalibur and Schiavone called the show. Jim Ross also only called the last four matches at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view over the weekend.

At this point there’s nothing official as to whether or not AEW just made these changes to the commentary team this week, or if fans can expect to see more of this moving forward. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
