AEW Dynamite Viewership Up Against NXT Special

AEW and NXT have been going head to head on Wednesday nights since October, and this week viewership was up for AEW Dynamite.

According to ShowBuzzDaily, Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite drew 967,000 viewers on TNT. This week’s episode of NXT was a year end special featuring taped matches and awards, and the episode drew 548,000 viewers.

It’s worth noting that this was AEW Dynamite’s best week since the October 16 episode which drew 1.014 million viewers. The viewership for the NXT special was the lowest viewership for the brand since moving to USA Network.
