On April 12, 2021 it was announced that Adnan Virk would be the new play-by-play commentator for WWE Monday Night Raw, but earlier today it was announced that Virk and the company have mutually decided to part ways.
Following his exit from WWE the former Monday Night Raw commentator thanked WWE for the opportunity, and noted the travel that comes along with working for WWE was a “grind” when he posted the following:
“Thanks to @WWE for a wonderful opportunity. The weekly travel along with my other jobs was a grind for me and my family. Am grateful to everyone with the company especially @WWEGraves and @ByronSaxton for being such fantastic teammates.”
Adnan Virk seemingly came into his new role with a lot of enthusiasm, but his commentary style didn’t seem to resonate with the professional wrestling audience.
As of right now WWE has not yet announced a replacement for Virk on Monday Night Raw. Stay tuned for updates.
