In 2016, Adam Rose was released from WWE, and he later announced that 2017 would be his last year in the professional wrestling business.
However, Rose didn’t retire when 2017 came to an end, and he told Chris Van Vliet of WSVN-TV over the weekend that he didn’t retire due to financial reasons.
“Money. I needed a job, that type of thing. I was all like ‘I’m going to retire, I’m done’ and then when I had no money I realized no, I’m not retiring. I need to wrestle some more.”
Even though Adam Rose hasn’t appeared on WWE programming in a while, fans can’t help but notice that No Way Jose’s entrance is quite similar to the entrance Rose used to use, and Rose has noticed as well.
“It is very similar, I’ll say that. Very similar. But hopefully he does better with it than I did because it’s a great thing and he’s really talented and stuff from what I’ve seen.”
In regards to whether or not we could see Adam Rose back in a WWE ring someday, he simply said that, “You never know.”
