The AEW Worlds End pay-per-view aired live on Saturday night and Jon Moxley defended his AEW World Championship against Darby Allin, Adam Page and Jay White in the main event. Moxley ended up retaining the title, but his victory celebration was short lived.
After the match came to an end the Death Riders continued to beat down Jay White when FTR’s music hit. The former AEW World Tag Team Champions made their way out onto the stage followed by a returning Adam Copeland.
FTR and Adam Copeland went after the Death Riders and Copeland ended up hitting Jon Moxley with a spear. Christian Cage and The Patriarchy looked on from their skybox, but they were shown leaving after Copeland returned.
Adam Copeland broke off a piece of a chair and used to apply the crossface to Moxley. As Moxley was trying to get away Adam Copeland got on the mic and said, “You’re all mine! Rated FTR we’re taking it all.”
Following the events that took place at AEW Worlds End it’s been announced that Adam Copeland and FTR will face off against Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta at Fight For The Fallen on Wednesday, January 1, 2025.
