Adam Cole’s Injury Reportedly Revealed

AEW All In aired live from Globe Life Field in Arlington, TX on Saturday and the show featured several big title matches. Originally Adam Cole was set to defend the TNT Championship against Kyle Fletcher at All In, but it was revealed ahead of the show that Cole was not medically cleared to compete inside the ring.

During All In Zero Hour, Renee Paquette announced the TNT Championship had been vacated, and that Dustin Rhodes, Sammy Guevara, Daniel Garcia and Kyle Fletcher would face off in a four way match to crown a new a champion at All In. Ultimately Dustin Rhodes ended up winning the match to become the new TNT Champion.

Fightful Select is reporting that Adam Cole is dealing with concussion issues. The word is that Adam Cole wasn’t feeling very good, and in the wee hours of Saturday the decision was made to sideline him. It’s being said that the scene was very emotional at AEW All In. The belief is that Cole sustained the injury at some point over the week.

Ahead of the TNT Championship at All In, Adam Cole made his way down to the ring with the title. Cole gave a heartfelt speech as he told the fans that he’s going away for a while. He noted that he isn’t sure about his future, but wanted to address the fans incase this is goodbye.
