Adam Cole is one of the best indie wrestlers on the planet who hasn’t signed with WWE… until now. With Adam Cole “Bay-Bay” signed to a WWE contract he is expected to debut with NXT very soon.
These assumptions are even more clear as Adam Cole was recently spotted hanging out with some fellow NXT talent at Orlando International Airport as they prepared for a flight to LaGuardia Airport for what we can only assume is a SummerSlam/TakeOver flight.
Cole was seen hanging out with guys like Johnny Gargano and Roderick Strong as well as United Kingdom stars Pete Dunne and Trent Seven.
Pro Wrestling Sheet posted the following picture and it’s pretty exciting to say the least:
With the promise of Adam Cole in the air and so many more surprises hopefully to come during SummerSlam weekend, we can only assume WWE has something planned for the three-time ROH World Champion.
He very well might be in attendance at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III on Saturday night. Whether or not he’s simply making the flight to be seen on camera or do a little something in the ring is besides the point. The important part is Adam Cole looks like he’s getting even closer to debuting on WWE television.
WWE has been wanting Adam Cole for a while now and reports were the two sides weren’t far away from inking a deal for the longest time. When news broke saying Adam Cole had signed a contract and it was official, we knew we weren’t far away from Cole debuting for NXT.
Even though a guy like Adam Cole could do wonders on the main roster, his addition to NXT will be greatly appreciated. He’s not only extremely fun to watch in the ring, but his veteran ability will go to help further polish the WWE Superstars of tomorrow.
