A number of interesting names have joined the All Elite Wrestling roster this year and back in July fans saw Kamille debut with AEW. The former NWA World Women’s Champion formed an alliance with Mercedes Mone and immediately started working as her bodyguard.
Last month Kamille’s alliance with Mercedes Mone officially came to an end when the duo split up during the Thanksgiving Eve Dynamite on November 27. Kamille has not appeared on AEW programming since the split.
Bryan Alvarez recently shared an update on Kamille’s status on Wrestling Observer Radio and noted that she may not be making future appearances on AEW programming when he said, “I don’t know if we’ll ever see her again in AEW. I wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t.”
Following the split with Mercedes Mone on the November 27 episode of Dynamite, Kamille was later shown laid out backstage during the November 30 episode of Rampage. Mercedes Mone posted a tweet which seemingly indicated that she was behind the attack, but it’s not clear if AEW has any plans to follow up on the angle.
Stay tuned for more updates on Kamille’s status as they become available.
