Rey Mysterio has had a run of bad luck on TV over the last few weeks and fans are waiting to see where his storyline goes.
Mysterio didn’t appear on TV this week and the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that he missed TV because he was in Colombia undergoing stem cell treatments.
It’s also being reported that a number of wrestlers have been going to Colombia for stem cell treatments, as it’s the current fad.
The idea is that if you get the treatment done in Colombia instead of the U.S. they’ll give you a ton more, and the treatments help heal injuries, regenerate tissues and help with cognitive issues such as Alzheimer’s.
Other wrestlers who have had similar treatments done include Brian Cage, John Morrison, Kevin Nash and Ryback.
