AJ Styles has been one of SmackDown Live’s top stars for years now, but following WrestleMania 35 he was sent to Monday Night Raw in the Superstar Shake-Up.
Styles quickly jumped into a feud with WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins, but fans haven’t seen much of him in recent weeks because he’s been out of action due to injury.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that AJ Styles has not been cleared yet, but he was back at TV because WWE officials expect him to be cleared soon.
The expectation is that AJ will be cleared to return to the ring for the Sumo Hall shows in Japan later this month.
The Phenomenal One is currently being advertised for the June 28 show, and he’s set to team up with Triple H, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson to face the team of Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin, Bobby Lashley and Samoa Joe.
He’s also being advertised for a six man tag match on the June 29 show which will see him tag with Braun Strowman and Seth Rollins to take on Baron Corbin & Drew McIntyre & Bobby Lashley.
