WrestleMania week gave fans plenty to talk about, and when Enzo Amore and Big Cass invaded the G1 Supercard at Madison Square Garden they got a lot of attention.
Enzo and Cass are back together again, and they recently released new merch, but it doesn’t sound like there’s been much movement on the ROH end.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Enzo and Cass were not at the ROH shows over the weekend, and they don’t currently have any future dates booked with the company.
The former WWE Superstars are not being factored into future plans for ROH, and it’s being said that there were key people that were upset about their appearance at the G1 Supercard.
Original plans called for the segment to take place at the corner of the guard rails. Enzo was supposed to grab Mark Briscoe, then Mark was supposed to shove him, and that was going to be it.
The idea was for the altercation to be so quick that people wouldn’t see it, but they would hear about it. Enzo was then set to be taken away by security to make it look real.
If the altercation created a buzz the plan was to follow up on it.
It’s being said that the segment got out of control and there are no plans to bring them back, however there are different people in creative with different viewpoints, so it’s not exactly clear what the future holds.
