Kofi Kingston has been trying to get a one on one match for the WWE Title for years now, and over the last few weeks Kofi has had some serious momentum on his side.
Unfortunately Vince McMahon has been trying to prevent Kofi from getting his title shot, but his New Day brothers recently sealed his fate when they won a gauntlet match which granted Kofi the opportunity to challenge Daniel Bryan for the WWE Title at WrestleMania 35.
Kofi Kingston and Daniel Bryan battled back and fort in an intense contest, but Kofi walked out with the belt.
In the end Kofi won the WWE Title for the first time in his career when he hit Daniel Bryan with Trouble In Paradise and then pinned the champion to win the match clean.
After the match, Xavier Woods and Big E presented Kofi with a WWE Title belt with a leather strap and his own custom side plates.
Kofi and The New Day then celebrated in the ring with Kofi’s kids.
