Becky Lynch earned the right to challenge for a title at WrestleMania 35 when she won the women’s Royal Rumble match, and the next night on Raw she announced that she would be challenging Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women’s Championship.
However, Vince McMahon pulled Becky Lynch from the match when he suspended her for 60 days, and he picked Charlotte Flair to be her replacement.
Becky Lynch refused to take the suspension seriously, and after she attacked Ronda Rousey & Charlotte Flair, Stephanie McMahon reinstated Becky and booked a huge match for Fastlane.
Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch faced off on Sunday night with the stipulation being that if Becky could defeat Charlotte then she would be added to the Raw Women’s Title match at WrestleMania 35.
Flair look very confident as Becky limped her way down to the ring on a crutch.
Charlotte focused on Becky’s knee for most of the match as The Man hobbled around the ring.
The match ended when Charlotte had Becky in the figure eight, and Ronda Rousey came down to the ring then punched Becky Lynch. The ref named Becky the winner by DQ.
Becky was then added to the Raw Women’s Title match at WrestleMania.
Ronda Rousey left and Charlotte Flair looked angry as Becky celebrated.
