It’s no big secret that there are some WWE Superstars who aren’t happy about how they’re being used, and Tye Dillinger recently announced that he had requested to be released from his contract.
Earlier today WWE announced that Dillinger has indeed been released, and now another release has been confirmed.
According to WWE, Hideo Itami has been released from his contract. The company posted the following statement: “WWE has come to terms on the release of Kenta Kobayashi (Hideo Itami).”
Hideo Itami joined WWE in 2014, and was expected to be a top star with the NXT brand, but unfortunately he missed time due to injury and that halted his momentum.
In 2017 he joined the cruiserweight division as part of the 205 Live brand.
It was reported a few weeks ago that he requested his release, and it’s expected that he’ll be returning to Japan.
