After his match with Hiroshi Tanahashi at Wrestle Kingdom 13, Kenny Omega confirmed that he’s leaving New Japan Pro Wrestling.
That revelation left fans with more questions than answers, as everyone is waiting to see what Kenny is going to be when his contract officially expires at the end of the month.
Kenny Omega commented on his future at the Tokyo Sports Awards, and according to NJPW’s Chris Charlton, he said he’ll be putting on match of the year performance on an international platform.
“Kenny said he wouldn’t stand on the Tokyo Sports stage next year, that he would still be putting on moty performances on a large international platform.”

“I cannot tell the future. I would like to say good luck to AEW. It is going to be amazing. I am interested because it is a group of friends of mine. Since they are my friends, I have no choice but to support.”
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Kenny Omega has already turned down an offer from WWE, and he’s expected to sign with AEW after his NJPW contract expires.
