The big All Elite Wrestling rally took place from Jacksonville on Tuesday, and the new wrestling promotion got a lot of people talking.
Chris Jericho, PAC were just a few of the stars who were revealed for the roster, and it was also confirmed that Double or Nothing will take place from Las Vegas on May 25.
There are still a lot of unanswered questions in regards to what the future holds for AEW, and many people are wondering if the promotion will be able to secure a solid TV deal.
Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that there are currently two TV deals on the table for AEW, but neither of them have been signed. He noted that both deals are strong enough that they could be signed pretty quickly.
It was also noted that AEW’s production values will have to be strong for the networks they’re talking to.
However, AEW isn’t looking to do regular TV right away, the company is currently looking ahead to Double or Nothing and the follow up event which has been confirmed for Jacksonville.
It was also speculated that the big picture for AEW will likely become more clear toward the end of 2019.
