WWE is currently going through a transition period as Roman Reigns was being pushed as the face of the company, but Roman Reigns is currently out of action at the moment.
It seemed that Braun Strowman was being groomed for the top spot, but then it was discovered that Strowman had to undergo surgery due to bone spurs in his elbow.
WWE is in need of a top face at the moment, and Matt Hardy recently told SPN Action that he thinks it should be Seth Rollins.
“Right now, the guy is already a big star, but I’m impressed with Seth Rollins. I think Seth Rollins is the guy that should be the nucleus of the WWE right now. They should build around him. Seth Rollins is the guy, right now.”
Right now Seth Rollins is the current Intercontinental Champion, and he’s feuding with Dean Ambrose. But it’s rumored that Seth could end up facing Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 35 right now.
Whether or not Rollins vs. Lesnar will take place on the Grandest Stage of Them All remains to be seen, but it’s probably safe to say that Rollins would welcome the challenge.
