You never know who might show up when you watch WWE programming, and it sounds like we could be seeing the return of a former WWE Champion sooner than later.
For most of 2018, people have been talking about a potential WWE return for Rey Mysterio, and now PWInsider is reporting that he’s signed a two year deal with the company.
Rey reportedly wanted to sign for 18 months, but WWE pushed for a two year deal. Mysterio did however work in a clause that would allow him to give notice to the company at the 18 month mark.
At this point in time, Rey is just waiting for WWE to work him into the storylines so that he can return.
