It’s always exciting when a NXT Superstar gets called up to the main roster, but recently NXT fans have been treated to a few surprise appearances from main roster stars such as Luke Harper and Tyler Breeze.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it’s expected that more main roster stars will be working NXT live events going forward.
Harper and Breeze unfortunately aren’t able to team up with their partners right now because Fandango, and Erick Rowan are still recovering from injuries. Stars who don’t have current programs on the main roster are also being considered for NXT events.
Speaking of NXT stars, it’s also being reported that Matt Riddle has been training at the WWE Performance Center.
He may be making his television debut sooner than later, and there’s talk of Riddle facing Kassius Ohno at NXT TakeOver: Los Angeles.
