Kane has been very busy recently as he’s running for mayor of Knox County, TN, and he’s been dedicating all his time to his campaign.
Things seem to be going well for Kane, and there’s also been a lot of talk about The Rock possibly running for President of the United States in 2020. However, Kane recently told IJR.com that there’s no chance he’ll end up being The Rock’s running mate if Rock does indeed run.
“You ain’t never going to see a Kane part of that, I’ll tell you that right now,” Jacobs said.
But Kane did say he turned to another familiar face from WWE for support, and he noted that his personal relationship with Vince McMahon has had a big impact on him.
“Vince is one of the first people that I talked to because we have a good personal relationship, and I needed his support just as a friend. Vince has got a vision. From the very beginning. And you just can’t discount that. And that’s why I think so many organizations fail, is their leader doesn’t have a vision of where he’s going to go. And Vince has always had that. He has that pigheaded determination. And all that stuff has helped me with my business and, really, in my personal life.”
