Hopefully you enjoy watching WWE pay-per-views, because they’re about to get even longer. WWE recently confirmed that starting with Money in the Bank on 6/17, pay-per-view events will have a new start time of 7 PM EST with kickoff shows starting at 6 PM.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that the plan is to end the “B” level pay-per-views at 10:30 PM instead of 11:00 PM, but the start times for SummerSlam and Survivor Series have moved up, with doors opening at 4:30 PM, and kickoff shows scheduled for 5:00 PM.
WrestleMania 35 could end up being one of the longest WrestleManias in history, as the plan is for the show to end at midnight next year.
As we’ve seen recently with events such as WrestleMania 34 and the Greatest Royal Rumble, WWE will let events run as long as they need to now that they have that option with the WWE Network.
WrestleMania 35 is set to take place from MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on April 7, 2019.
As far as what’s planned for the show, it’s already rumored that WWE officials are considering putting Ronda Rousey in the main event.
The next WWE pay-per-view, Money in the Bank, will air live on the WWE Network on Sunday, June 17th.
