Friday night Alberto El Patron was set to team up with Penta 0M to take on Austin Aries and Rey Fenix during the Impact Wrestling vs. Lucha Underground event, but Alberto did not appear at the event, and the match was then changed to a triple threat.
Fans in attendance didn’t seem to be happy about the change, as they chanted “f*** Del Rio” and now the former Impact Champion has missed another event.
PWInsider is reporting that Alberto also missed another scheduled appearance for Impact Wrestling at WrestleCon on Saturday.
It’s being said that the talk among the talent is that Alberto’s status with Impact is up in the air after he didn’t appear at Impact Wrestling vs. Lucha Underground. As of this writing Impact Wrestling officials have yet to comment on his status.
Stephanie McMahon will be returning to the ring this year at WrestleMania 34, and she’s set to team with her husband Triple H to take on Ronda Rousey and Kurt Angle.
It’s been rumored that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon will have the most elaborate entrance at the Show of Shows on Sunday, and Steph recently took to Twitter to share a quick look at her outfit.
