A tag team match featuring Bobby Roode and Randy Orton teaming up to face Sunil Singh and Jinder Mahal was advertised for this week’s episode of SmackDown Live, but the match was changed before the bell rang.
Sunil Singh faked an injury, and Jinder Mahal announced that Rusev would be his new partner. Rusev ended up winning the match for his team when he pinned Randy Orton, and he later told Jinder that he was going to find Daniel Bryan and ask if he could be added to the US Title match.
Rusev was indeed added, and Randy Orton will now defend his US Title against Rusev, Jinder Mahal and Bobby Roode in a Fatal 4-Way match at WrestleMania 34.
