Fans who tune into WWE programming have become very familiar with the sound of Corey Graves’ voice, but Graves recently took a shot at a former WWE commentator.
Graves recently posted a tweet that has since been deleted which originally said, “Insecurity is a bad color on you @OfficialTAZ, shoulda stuck to orange and black.”
It’s not exactly clear why Corey Graves took a shot at Taz in the first place, but Taz recently made some comments about modern day WWE commentators which may have rubbed him the wrong way.
During a recent appearance on the Talk Is Jericho podcast, Taz noted that he thinks one of the big problems with WWE commentary is that there aren’t currently any broadcasters with a high level of in-ring experience sitting at the booth.
The former ECW Champion has since responded to Corey’s tweet by saying that he has no idea what Graves was talking about, but he’s the happiest he’s ever been.
I have no clue what you are talking about.
PS: Tough to be insecure when I’m the happiest I’ve been ever professional for past 3 + years & I always stick to ORANGE & BLACK. https://t.co/DhecR40gCZ— TAZ (@OfficialTAZ) March 20, 2018
To Taz’s credit during his appearance on Talk Is Jericho, he did say that he meant no disrespect, and that he’s met Corey Graves and thinks he’s a nice guy.
It seems that everything is cool as far as Taz is concerned, so hopefully Corey Graves feels the same way.
