Rey Mysterio is a former WWE World Heavyweight Champion, and everybody’s talking about whether or not he’s going to return in time for WrestleMania. Rey is currently booked to face Jushin “Thunder” Liger at the NJPW Strong Style Evolved event in Long Beach, California on March 25th, but it was recently reported that he’s also set to meet with WWE to discuss the terms of a potential new deal.
It’s been speculated that Rey Mysterio could be part of WrestleMania this year, and there have even been rumors that a match with John Cena may be on the table.
Whether or not Mysterio will actually appear at WrestleMania this year remains to be seen, but it’s worth noting that the former WWE Superstar is no longer being advertised for the CRASH event which is set to take place at WrestleCon during WrestleMania weekend.
Mysterio is still being advertised for the CRASH event on March 17th, but he’s no longer part of the lineup for the April 6th event.
