You just never know what’s going to happen in the world of professional wrestling. When it comes to the WWE locker room, wrestlers come and go, and the same can be said about the Impact Wrestling locker room.
A few months ago Impact lost a former X-Division Champion when Rockstar Spud was released from his contract, and it’s expected that Spud will be joining the WWE cruiserweight division in the near future.
At the recent Impact Wrestling TV tapings in Orlando, Florida, Impact said goodbye to a former TNA World Heavyweight Champion, as EC3 has finished up with the company.
Now that EC3 is done with Impact there’s a lot of speculation that he could be WWE bound, and it was recently reported that WWE is “absolutely” interested in the former World Champion.
Rockstar Spud and EC3 worked closely in Impact, and they’ve worked both as friends and enemies. With both Spud and EC3 seemingly WWE bound, that leaves the door open for a reunion in the future.
Spud recently took to Twitter to post a picture of himself with Ethan Carter III, and he joked that they have a whole (WWE) universe to conquer.
