In less than two weeks the Royal Rumble pay-per-view will air on the WWE Network, and it will feature the first ever women’s Royal Rumble match. Of course the pay-per-view will also feature the traditional men’s Royal Rumble match, and the current betting odds suggest that some interesting names could take home the big win.
According to current betting odds on Paddy Power, Shinsuke Nakamura is the current favorite to win the match with Roman Reigns and John Cena behind him respectively. Dolph Ziggler and Finn Balor round out the top 5.
This week the WWE Mixed Match Challenge is set to kick off on Facebook Watch, and there will be two husband and wife teams competing in the tournament.
Rusev will be teaming up with his wife Lana, and former SmackDown Women’s Champion Naomi will be teaming with her husband Jimmy Uso.
Naomi recently spoke to TV Insider about the Mixed Match Challenge, and she noted that her husband doesn’t really want to team up with her.
“I wanted to work with him and team up with him, but he doesn’t really want to team up with me. He thinks I don’t listen. I tell him I will listen and do whatever he tells me to do. He goes, ‘No you won’t.’ I’m curious about it. It would fun to be with someone else like New Day or Nakamura or Rusev. Teaming up with Rusev would have been very entertaining because we can get on each other’s nerves all the time. And I’m the complete opposite from his ravishing wife Lana. We’ll see how it all goes.”
