Here we are a few days removed from WrestleMania XXX and the wrestling world is still in shock over the fact that Brock Lesnar ended The Undertaker’s streak.

Many people have wondered who within the WWE knew ahead of time that the streak was ending and the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that it was a very short list. The group of people that most likely knew ahead of time were Vince McMahon, Triple H, The Undertaker, Lesnar, Stephanie McMahon and Paul Heyman. The funny thing is that the referee Chad Patton did not know which explains why he also looked very shocked after the three count. Despite the fact that he was told The Undertaker would be winning, referees within WWE are told to always go for the three count if the guy doesn’t kick out which is why he followed through.

Vince McMahon was apparently under the impression that this would be The Undertaker’s last match and he wanted him to go out with a loss. The situation was described as Vince McMahon himself making the call and The Undertaker agreeing to the loss. Although losing to Brock Lesnar wasn’t The Undetaker’s original plan, he didn’t protest it.

Their report also mentions that despite the fact that they can’t say so publicly, many people within the WWE are very unhappy about the streak ending.
