Brock Lesnar is the current WWE Universal Champion, and it was recently announced that The Beast will be defending his title against Kane and Braun Strowman in a triple threat match at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view on January 28.
Brock Lesnar has only defended his title a few times since he defeated Goldberg to win the belt at WrestleMania 33, but now another title defense has been confirmed, and it’s set to take place before the Royal Rumble.
Lesnar has been added to the WWE live event at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, MD, on January 27, and he’s set to put the Universal Title on the line when he faces Kane in a one on one match.
Originally The Shield vs. Sheamus, Cesaro and Samoa Joe was being advertised as the main event for the show, but that match obviously won’t be happening due to Dean Ambrose’s injury.
